A mesmerising evening of contemporary and traditional Portuguese song and music with Teresa Salgueiro, an internationally acclaimed Portuguese singer and actor. Teresa was also behind the famous group – Madredeus – that between 1987 and 2007 played more than a thousand concerts in the most famous theatres of the world selling over five million copies of their albums worldwide. Teresa’s album Obrigado (2006), a collaboration with artists such as José Carreras, Caetano Veloso and Angelo Branduardi, was critically acclaimed. In 2007, she was the lead soloist on the album Silence Night and Dreams. In August 2008, she released her next album Matriz which reflectedthe different eras, traditions, customs and Portuguese regions.
In Bangkok, Teresa will showcase her latest album O Misterio; its music designed specifically to be played live. The group recreates on stage the diverse range of emotions present in the different songs, inviting the audience to participate in the essence and energy generated at each concert.
Released in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Poland Mexico, Germany and being distributed in UK, O Mistério has been presented live in virtually all corners of the world: from Macau to Taiwan, from Brazil to Sweden, from Italy to Mexico to rave reviews.
